Welcome to New Zealand Boerboels!!

 

Wow we are so excited that you have found us! We are a family of Mum, Dad and three young children living on a 20 acre lifestyle block about 45 minutes out of Auckland. We have been breeding giant dogs in New Zealand since 2008. Since then we have fallen in love with the incredible breed named the Boerboel. We were drawn to the guardian nature, the family bond and functionality of the breed. These are seriously strong, healthy and big dogs. In 2021 we decided as a family that this was the breed for us and we were going to start the first serious breeding line of these beautiful dogs in New Zealand. From this moment on we have lived and breathed the breed. From calls and video chats at all hours of the night talking to world-class breeders from all over the world, to landing our foundation breeding dogs. We have loved every minute of it.

We know have multiple dogs living here in the beautiful Aotearoa. One of our main focuses is functionality and temperament. For this reason, we put effort into fully health testing all of our breeding dogs to the highest standard. If this standard is not met the dog will be removed from the breeding program. Our rigorous health testing includes Pennhip, NZVA Elbow Dysplasia Scheme and Embark DNA testing. We have not spared any expense with these tests and have been very happy with the results.

We have space here for dogs to be dogs, run and play in the paddock. Spend time with the children, come with us to the beach. We absolutely love the dogs and the dogs love us. We spend a lot of time training and having fun.
